From Foundation to New Stewardship
A project launched in 1941 led the Eudists to take charge of a college in 1943. The first students arrived in September 1946 and were housed in former military barracks. Construction of the stone building began in 1948. The college grew to include a chapel, gymnasium, science facilities, library, and residence. It became affiliated with the Université de Moncton, and on February 21, 1974, the Eudists transferred its property and administration to a lay corporation.
